Rohbauphase is vorbei....Construction phase is over!

Rohbauphase ist vollendet, das Dach ist drauf. Wir freuen uns riesig 

endlich durchs Haus zu laufen und all die Raeumlichkeiten zu erkunden.

The construction phase is over and the "roof" is up. It's amazing to walk through our house
and check out all the rooms.

How time flies.... Wie die Zeit vergeht...

...almost another 4 weeks have past since my last post and our house is growing fast. Meanwhile they are working on the 3rd and also top floor. Unfortunately the weather hasn't been on our side and it has been the wettest spring in like 30 year. Luckily our construction workers are used to it and it looks like we will have the roof on the house in another 3-4 weeks. Yeah! :)

...schon wieder sind fast 4 Wochen seit meinem letzten Beitrag vergangen und unser Haus wächst voran. Leider war das Wetter gar nicht auf unser Seite und es war der feuchteste Frühling in gut 30 Jahren. Glücklicherweise sind unsere Bauarbeiter nicht wasserscheu und in gut 3-4 Wochen sollte das Dach auf dem Haus sein. Juhui!!!

Our new house grows.... Unser neues Haus waechst....

Well, O.K. the whole thing with the weekly updates didn't really work (sorry). But now I can post even more pictures of our "growing" house. Bottom level is finished and now they are working on the first floor. Last weekend we went "into" the house for the first time and it was a real cool experience.

So, dass mit den woechentlichen Fortschritten hat nicht so geklappt (sorry). Aber dafuer kann ich jetzt umso mehr Bilder von unserem wachsenden Haus "posten". Das Untergeschoss ist fertig und nun wird das Erdgeschoss in Angriff genommen. Lestes Wochenende waren wir das erste mal im Haus drin und es war ein tolles Erlebnis.

 Finally the dream of building our own house is coming through. We started on March 18, 2013.

Here are the first few pictures for the last 4 weeks. I'm trying to update on a weekly bases ;)

Endlich wird unser Traum vom eigenen Haus wahr. Am 18. Maerz 2013 hatten wir Spatenstich. Hier die ersten Bilder vom Bauverlauf in den letzten 4 Wochen. Werde versuchen woechentlich neue Bilder zu veroeffentlichen.

Summer vacation in Italy / Sommerferien in Italien

10 days of pure sunshine, mostly blue sky and temps
in the 90's was what we enjoyed in our vacation in Italy.
